Not sure what a normal M12 nut's pitch is but you nedd M12 x 1.5 pitch I think, I used nyloc one on mine. Got mine from Beedspeed for a few quid but go into a local supplier should be able to sort you out and save on postage.

ive got a fixings and fasteners place by me so was hoping if some one new the right size

M12, 19mm spanner. Take the old one in and they should be able to measure the pitch. I think it's 1.5 as well. Nylon lock nut with wavey washer
