PWK Filter elbow/hose

Just fitted my new PWK 28/30 carb and had a fight trying to get the filter elbow (GP 22mm carb version as suggested on ScootRS website) to fit.
After much swearing finally managed to get it on, but it's too much stretching and far from ideal IMHO.
Does anyone know of a more suitable item I can use (and still fit under the panels)? It needs to be a 50mm ID to fit well.

should fit within the rear strut...

Hi Bob, what sort of manifold are you running? With mine (mugello) I don't think that would work. However the position of the filter isn't really the problem, it's how much I had to stretch the hose to get it on the bellmouth and how difficult it was (i'd hate to have to do it at the side of the road!). I'm really after a connection between the bellmouth and the filter that fits better.

I used the cam-lam one in the end.My vhst28 has a 50mm diameter.

They are difficult the first time but the rubber will eventually stay stretched.

I'd be interested which one it was, the only one I could see was 55mm (or is that the OD not the ID?)

Using the MB manifold... different angle from the Scootrs one...

The breath sweet one I got from SCK fits perfectly They call it the "Evergreen", however they are all compressed a little under the panels.

I was running open mouthed for most of last year, but have fitted a filter after excessive ring wear; not a noticeable drop off in performance...

I got my hose off Corrado on here, soft stretchy and really easy to fit.
