Hello,

My new gearbox arrived today:

To select the correct shim for the cluster so that the 5th gears align correctly, the instructions say use your finger or a small screwdriver to see if there is a step between these gears.

There was no way I could get my finger in to feel whether the gears were aligned or a screwdriver.

After trying for half an hour and using my iPhone as a torch to try and see the alignment, I hit on the idea of taking a photo.

The result:

One perfectly aligned set of 5th gears.

Just thought I'd flag this up in case anyone else is struggling.

Cheers.
