Update for my Avanti /Mikuni TMX 35 set up:
Avanti clubman
57 Needle 2nd clip
20 pilot
310 main
No filter
so far this seems to be ok for now ...better than previous (25 pilot/330main/57 needle 3rd clip).
most of the boggyness is gone ...will try 300and 290 main jets next couple of days .

seems like im the only one using this carb on this kit

How did you get on with jetting and find the kit ?

Have you tried a different pipe ?

I run 30 VHSH allthough i'll try a TMX 35 when it warms up a bit for curiousity

so right now set up for the 35 tmx is as follows :
57 needle 2nd clip
17.5 pilot
290 main
runs like a top in this very cool weather ...maybe will up-jet a little in the spring .
not sure if i have any riding days left on the east coast until then .
other wise the avanti is a balls out fun bit of kit .

Dont forget cold air is dense and engines run lean ( but I am drunk as i TYPe this )
