Joining Hydraulic Hoses?

Having previously only used complete hoses cut to length for my brakes I've ended up with a few lengths of hydraulic hose which are not long enough to use for anything, but too good/long to throw away. I'm sure I've seen hoses connected together on chops and the like... can anyone point me in the right direction where I might get some connectors from? I've done a quick Google search but nothing is jumping out at me. Boo.
My hoses are 6mm diameter I think.
Cheers, Paul.

not wanting to be rude, but why would you want to?
surely for the costs involved in having a custom made hose, the colour you want, the angled fitting you want etc, along with the piece of mind of it being new.
Im poor as hell, but for what?? £20 for custom made front brake hose, think I would rather do it properly

Kind of I think, i would have thought they would have identical ends and a joint in the middle. Dont think THEY are quite what I'm after.

My surplus hose is new and unused. I have several lengths of it which if joined I can use for my clutch/rear brake etc
Didnt take it as being rude, but I would rather do it myself with my selection of angled stainless banjos.
I'm just not sure where to get any connectors from.
If however a set of connectors is going to cost me a tenner or so, it may not be worth the hassle, and as you say get a hose made up to my spec for 20 notes.
Out of interest where's the best place to get hoses made up? Chiggy?
Does he do the plain braided/Goodrich style, or just the coloured plastic style?
