Escort Front Dampers

I've just fitted a pait of the slim escort front dampers. Should they be parallel with the fork tubes?
The bottom damper stud in the link seems to push the bottom out relative to the top bracket, doesn't look quite right??
If anyone has a pic of their dampers from straight on that might help.
Cheers.

They're new forks with welded brackets and MBD links and studs.

its normalish what damper studs are you using
ive don alot of forks for people and i dont put the top brackets on unless i have links and damper studs fitted ive found that the MBD links and damper studs make the top bracket out by 6mm I AM NOT KNOCKING ANY PRODUCTS I email mark with my concerns and he said it was normal for the innocenti forks to have the dampers tilting in at the top

Thanks both of you for your replies

Shocky -- I didnt measure it but I reckon your 6mm out is about spot on - they are MBD studs.
The gap in the bracket on the forks was wide enough for a penny washer either side of the damper, I've put a couple on one side just to get in the best position. I think it will be ok, and I can live with it, just wanted to check I hadn't missed something daft.

Cheers.

If you look at Shocky's bottom photo, you can get the shoulder turned down on the link stud which will bring it back in line and make the shocker parallel.

hi mark i was wondering if u were going to comment i remember you FILED yours didnt you ?
ive always wondered why that shoulder is so big and is often exasperated by people putting a penny washer on top as well altho i know why they do that

Hi Steve, hope you are well. Good to see you're still looking in. ;) The filed link studs are holding up well. Did get another pair and had them turned down properly ;) They sit parallel from front view and side on :)
