Hello all,
Who sells a main engine mounting bolt for a wideframe vespa? I can't find one anywhere. Its longer than a P range one.

It's not one bolt, it's two bolts each around 50mm long. These bolts fit the bracket from SIP. I can't remember what size they are. I may have a spare couple of bolts lying around, will let you know.

If you could tell me the length and size that would be great. Just finding them on the SIP website would be really helpful. Searching on it is always a tricky one because the translation from german is often a bit weird

Item number 78724080. Put SIP on your phone, it's much easier.

If you are ordering big from SIP ask for the catalogue. It's f*****g brilliant.

Cheers. Although a fastener supplier on ebay was a better deal at £3.50 for two (with nuts and washers) than SIP who wanted nearly a fiver each!
I have a catalogue. I grabbed one at Mersea. And it is indeed brilliant (although it may bankrupt me)

You don't need the nuts, I would try and get spring washers. There's a good company called Custom Fastners from chrome and stainless. The only problem is they don't do M9
