Will do a picture with some marks where i intend to grind it, you'll tell me if it's enough or too much ok?eden wrote:dam, i thought this topic was going to give some advise on smuggling crack
what a shame
i can give you an advice on how to repair a casing with tooth-past but not sure it's a good one...
I would just grind it back so there is less chance of a piece braking away.
Cheers.
a casing i have has a section there removed, obviously someone previously has had to lever out the seal plate.

Eden, is it enough?
Or do i go further in grinding 'till the black line (just to remove the mark in casing still visible)?
Cheers for all your quick advices.
