Do they vary from frame to frame ie are they the same cones for a GP and LI frame for instance?

MMmm, I bought a set and they arrived today - when i tried to fit them tonight i couldn't squeeze the engine mounts over them, they protruded from the frame a good 2mm either side.

I wound a bolt between them to draw them in bu they just popped out again, closed them up in a vice but they stiil would not push into the frame enough to allow me to get the engine over them so I ended up popping the old ones back in

They didn't seem to be as snug a fit as the originals either a different shape really.

I checked the listing off ebay and it did say GP offset cones - I am trying to fit them in an LI, I didn't want to complain to the ebay seller if there is a difference between them.

measure them against the ones you have taken out....but it could be your engine mounts catching cus the inner piece is pulled in a little... That is the steel inserts inside the rubber might be sitting in too far...reducing the gap...

It fouls on the lugs of the casing not the mounts themselves, I did offer them up and there is a difference in size all around.

I'm going to email the seller to see what he says.

Thanks Jims :D

I've just been ' on t'other side  and resurrected an old thread and ask SLJ if he's still making them.
A few people had said they'd bought bad ones off ebay.
