having probs with a new sip speedo,wired as per instructions but problems with display ,speedo ok when bike starts all functions working good,start to ride but when revs get to about 5k tacho freezes on maximum setting and needlle freezes then jumps to max and freezes there,then rev display goes blank but needle still stuck but all other features still working???????,pull over turn bike off,start up again,tacho resets itself and works fine ,start to ride,give some revs,same problem again,
anybody else had probs ,is it a faulty unit or am i missing something ? help :wtf:

Are you using a resistor spark plug? E.g. BR8ES as opposed to non-resistor B8ES?

It is important to use both resistor plugs and caps otherwise the electromagnetic interference is enough to make it freeze.
