Hi,

I'm just putting the finishing touches to the next version of my gearbox visualiser spreadsheet and would like to build in accurate tyre circumference data for Dunlop TT92's and SAVA Monsum's (As well as anything else you fancy).

Could anyone help me out when they get a mo, and measure the circumference around the tyre at the centre of the tread to the nearest mm for these and anything else you'd like included.

fresh Michelin S1- 1375mm

is that fitted to rims and pumped up to 18/28 psi or unfitted

It's the "race" tyres I'd especially like........... (but the more the better)

I've just carefully measured my Weathermans with the folowing results:

Rear (measured by marking the tyre and rolling the scoot for one rev) = 1.330

Front measure around the circumference = 1.880

Double checked the results, I guess the rear is a bit more worn than the front

Thanks Coaster - I'm a bit confused now though. I did have some info already on Schwalbes - and your worn rear could easily be one of these, but i wasn't expecting something as big as 188cm - what profiles/rims are you running?

Sorry, I double checked the front (100/90 10) and got the same measurement with the tape so marked the tyre and did the rollng measuement and got 130.1 cm

Tape measure witht he wheel on the rim isn't very accurate
