Can anyone recommend a quiet clubman? I was thinking about a KBA/AF or Ancillotti . A mate of mine has a AF clubman that could wake the dead but others I've heard aren't too bad.Had an indian big bore once but that sounded a bit crap. Performance would be nice of course, so any recommendations?

Standard clubmans/ancilloti are far from noisy....

If you've got a large exhaust port and exhaust timing with attitude your clubman will be feckin' noisy.

Ancillotti for me, I have em on both my scoots, they are less noisy and perform better. IMO
a mate as a bigbore clubman on his Mugello and its so Firkin noisy, not even a nice noise, i couldn't ride with that in my earhole all the time.
The Ancillotti's are more money but worth it i recon, until someone brings something else out, MB and so on.

Ancillotis are great pipes but they're made of cheese and fall to bits

The exhaust port isn't big around 165 degrees. I have a scootrs pipe on at the moment but don't like the power delivery and want a more standard look.

I've not had any problems with either of mine, would i buy another until something better comes out, Yes! The 2 piece u bend has put less stress on them.
As for cheese, i've seen other well branded makes with bits falling off, pays your money and take your choice!

See if Ralph will make you an RS44 reverse cone one.
Mine's not all that loud. Quite quiet really.
And it's got that hand made by a pro quality that others possibly wont have..

Ear plugs

No seriously, I always ride with them in with a Clubman fitted to my scoot. You can hear your engine through your body (vibrations) cuts out wind noise etc. so you can hear any out of the ordinary noises.
