I'm also interested in the forum's opinion on this one as I've got the same set up myself and am sure it should have a little more go in it!

These can be hard to give advice for, as there are a few differant barrels in 150 format (varying port timings), and then when bored to 62mm the exhaust port is a little restictive compared to the size of cylinder it has to scavange, unless its widened... Also the choice of air box and air filter play a big part....but my normal starting point for this set up is a 22mm jetted for a 200 with a 120 or 122 main ....if it tends to bog down a little low down I usually put the 150 slide back in (number 2 slide =150 )...( number 1 slide =200 )....but try and fit a GP type air box....It normally makes jetting a little easier.....The early LI and TV type air boxes make it a little harder to get it right.... Hope this is of some help.... But this is only a starting point...

what we really need here is a lot more basic info........
li 150 gearboxes are good of course ,but .......and so often with type of question /post
its as you say not ever quite so simple...................
for eg............this so called 175 could be a bored out 150 cc barrel...........that has also been previously a bored out 125 barrel................

Gentlemen, thanks for your input and advice. I'll start with the easier stuff i.e. jetting & slide, but as it's still running ok (not great) I'll leave the checking of the type of cylinder, port timings, exhaust port and air box for another day (when I can clear some room in the garage!) Be aware that if I have to check all of the above items . . . . . . I shall be back seeking what to do next!!
Incidentally Sean, I'm certain I do have the Li150 gearbox set up in it but what are the problems with the SX150 box?
