I have a JL 4 pipe which is easily identified by the snakey u-bend. But I've also got another JL...which I cannot tell if it is a 1, 2 or 3.
Is there a way to identify it? As it doesn't appear to be marked up in any way.
How to differentiate between JL pipes?

The JL1 is easily identified as it is 4 pieces as opposed to 3 for the others. Stub manifold, down pipe, main body, end can.
JL2, 3, 4 have stub manifold, main body, end can. JL1 is about the same size as JL2, main body is smaller/thinner than JL3 & 4.
There's pictures of all 4 on my website. You should be able to compare where the sections are on yours compared to the pictures.

Many thanks that's great. I think mine is a JL 2 then...damn I wanted the 3 that's based on the Taffy!
