Hi Bazmzn
Im running an rb20 with a 30mm phbh, jl3, and four plate std.clutch extra stong springs.
Ive done 800 miles so far and the clutch is holding up, but recently found it slipping a little, under pressure :D so i will change to a five plate in the future.
The phbh was used because that was what i had at the time, however i now have a tmx35 but i havent got the correct jets yet so havent fitted it. The kit comes with the same manifold as the rb22 and rb25 so they are to suit the larger carb, if you want to fit a 30mm you will need a stepped rubber (you can buy a vw rubber off epay which fits, 2 for about £4 :D ).
Ive managed 78mph (gps) so far

Regards
Russell

Hi Bazman

Yes it a nice ride could do with a bit more torque though :)
Missed the bit about the panels, the phbh fits under gp panels just one side rubs on the panel a little. the tmx 35mm does fit under with about 15mm clearance at the tightest point
with the phbh on its doing about 75 miles to a standard tank.

Wow 75 miles to a standard tank , that's bloody good, was thinking of a bigger tank myself, i take it that's not full throttle driving though ;)

Not full throttle but a mix of normal driving and blasting. At full throttle would be about 50 miles. think it will be less with the tmx though

I can see your going to be busy with questions Russel so i'll ask another as well ;)
I'm building a rb 20 on gp 150 engine as well , is the gear box really bad or as you say give it some and fine !!! Notice your ratio is 4.80, maybe worth a change to around the 5.0 ?
Chers fella Baz :)
