bolt on front dampers

Am lookin at a set of stainless dampers and the bolt on kit for none weld brkts from beedspeed for me special.
Has anyone any experience of these. Ah divent want them top clips sliding up the forks an wreckin me paint like

Just put rubber between the top bracket and the fork leg in a rubber gasket type of deal and I don't think they'll slide and ruin your paint like way eye the noo like :bald:

Aye cheers mel. Ah was thinking of cutting some innertube fer em. Like av done to me spare wheel clamp on me vespa

I did a search on here before i posted an found them posted on an old thread . Dunno if it was you mate. I just baulked at the price .

they look fab ,but in no way will they ever be as good as weld on brackets i,m afraid .

No but wanted to keep this as it was as much as possible.
And as i want to keep original 125 engine with just probably a 175 kit . 22 mil carb and a decent exhaust i wont be breaking any records so more for aesthetic look really with maybe some better handling as a bonus

alot of those "stainless dampers are sh1t they dampen the same both ways as for the bolt on bkts they alway look crap imo get weld on ones fitted do the job properly
