Yesterday I found time to replace the speedo drive on the Frank Sanderson single disc brake. But when assembling and tightening up the spindle, the wheel locked. Started looking around and comparing the photos on Franks site and noted that this wheel was missing a spindle locking nut.
So the question is, am I right in that I need this locking nut and what do I torque it up to. Or is it just tight enough that the wheel spins freely with no play.
Secondly, a felt washer came with the speedo drive. Have I placed it in the correct position, see photo below. Just showing by the locking tab.
Emailed same question to Frank last night, but want to crack on and get it sorted this weekend.
Thanks
Paul

Should really put this photo up, which shows the extra nut, that seems to be missing from mine.
Any thoughts
