Always seeing dented exhausts for sale. Most adverts say that this does not effect performance in any way. Surely its quite likely that it does, albeit minor. Can anybody confirm it?

Depending on how badly dented it is I would say yes but in some cases hardly noticeable, ive often seen battered down pipes which have
some effect..mines pretty dented not the down pipe though
