Hello everyone,

I've gathered all torque info on Lambrettas as well as Vespas in this public spreadsheet:

Since I've made it public anyone can update it, and it's my hope that the document becomes a collaborative effort where everyone fills in missing data and takes the responsibility to keep it up to date.

But remember that with great powers comes great responsibility, so please don't do anything silly.

It can easily be printed or downloaded as a PDF for readily access to while in the shed.

PM me if any comments or suggestions, and moderators let me know if this shouldn't be the right section.

Would a separate section on std torque values for common thread sizes be useful? You know, the ones people give that bit extra for "luck".
I'm out the country for a while, so can't copy in the (paper)ones I have.

Absolutely, it's easy to create a new sheet in the document, or send me the data and I can do it.

What will be needed is:

Steel bolt - steel nut/goods
Dimension - thread length - torque
(M5 - 20mm - 10Nm)
(M5 - 25mm - 12Nm etc)

Steel bolt - alu goods
Dimension - thread length - torque

Doesnt matter which standard (international Nm or imperial pound-foot) as the spreadsheet can recalculate that.

As said, on hols for next four weeks, French gite has internet, but very slow and the info is at home anyway.
If no one else posts in meantime, I may forget so send me a reminder in a month or so.
