Curb vs JL4

I was riding my TS1 and the JL4 (Taffspeed Race) downpipe hit the curb as I was following the vespa club of warsaw group ride. It was at night and I didn't notice there was a curb to jump up and over, something you can't do with a JL4. The impact was enough to bend the exhaust flange and distort it enough to leak. The downpipe is scraped and dented in two places. Do you think heating and hammering down on the flange against a true surface will be enough to get it to seal against the exhuast gasket? Can the dents in the downpipe cause any bigger problems like running hot, etc?

Lastly, does anyone have JL TS1 exhaust flange they can send to me in Poland?

Next year, I'd like to replace the exhaust with a JL Franspeed Race for the improved ground clearance.

One of our lads did the same on our long trek to Hastings a few years ago hit a pothole though in some motorway services , luckily didnt snap the studs just bent the flange , we found a kind lorry driver with a big hammer straightened it out on the back of his trailer (not the Flattest of surfaces) and we were on our way :D he changed it when he got home :D

I may have a Stub ill have a look tonight
