Standard 200 rebored to 70mm with a head to suit and you'll pull SX200 gearing all day, every day, 2 up and/or luggage. Other than that, knock the timing back to 19 degrees (or less depending on compression ratio), upjet the standard carb, use GP spec' standard exhaust or clubman, and you'll have a great reliable tourer.

Note that as you start to tune it or fit parts that make power at higher revs (e.g. most expansions, big carb, etc) then you'll push the power higher up the rev range and need the bike to rev harder to stay in the power... basically negating the cc increase as far as low rev torque is concerned.

It's 'horses for courses' and all depends what you want it to do.
