60mm crank options

what to choose?
got a 60mm crank and was wondering if i should use a sil cylinder or rapido classic
gonna get a new type "clubman" quality pipe when they come out and maybe 30mm phbh
seem to remember somewhere a quote about using a meteor/asso type piston with quality ts1 200 wire rings
would these rings be 1mm or 1.5mm?
any advice greatly appreciated
ps - been told the 60mm crank will run a sil //rapido hotter????
