This bike I originally built in the Mid 90s TS1 etc but it dropped a piston ring and wrecked the barrel etc (yam@ha piston), so I stripped the bike and the motor went to MB, while I was at it I changed the paint from blue to red. The engine was built with Wiseco piston, Rotax rod, 6 plate clutch etc. (It was in scootering as well in the late 90s).
The last few years have been spent on bikes but after a big off I came back to scooters, So I dragged the frame out and got a good friend to spray it and all the panel work.

In base-coat.

Base coat all done. just the lacquer to go. (Yep its f**king pink it was supposed to be purple but the seller on ebay lied).
Image
Most of the bits have been polished and are ready to go on.

The motor is basicaly unchanged except it now has a Mikuni, It was last Dynod @ 30+ hp so I've basically left it alone except for new bearings and seals and reset the ignition. got a coupe of heli-coils to go in the gearbox end plate.

Ive also had this Pacemaker for the last getting on for 20 years, slow as f**k but i like it.

Nice one Kev. I used to be a bike man too....ran stores for Hein Gericke, owned a few bikes etc, rode my KR1s over to Assen to watch the GP..... still got screws in my hips from a bike wreck and a 3 month spell in hospital, and lost a few pals in bike wrecks too (RIP Ronnie Smith, Lee Pullan, Mark Webb) but now scooters all the way for me. Great mechanical involvement, great artistic involvement, ultimate individuality, and thankfully few cripples and deaths........welcome back. 8-)

It's in your blood alright, I've got old club tattoos on the front & back and Lambretta tattoos on my arms.

But I've got a broken arm that has 3 plates in and about 40 screws which meen I can't ride my H@rley or my Triumph, (aint got the heart to sell them)- so now it's back to brettas. I'm still a bit shocked at the amount of twist and go's have been accepted by scooterist, And parts are so easy now, all by computers gone are the days of hunting for trims etc in a auto jumble.

Put some lacquer on it, now I'll put it in the greenhouse for a few days to harden the lacquer, then I'll start putting it back together, problem is I'm finding out that I now need M7 helicoils, which I haven't got so that's another weeks wait,- & it go's on. Well pleased with pait it's got a slight peurl blue in it. Just got to stone chip the inners of the panels -Cheers Dean I owe you more than one.

:D :D :D ....

I kind of fell in to bikes by accident I loved the scene, clubhouses but didn't really get in to the bikes,- they were a bit of metal to get us there. h@rley or Lambretta I'd chose the Lambretta every time.!!!!

Ah back to the scooter! After a bit of a delay, Today I G3’d all the panel work, now even the pink looks kind of alright  , - well for £20 of e-bay!! I had to see it together so it moved to my living room and got roughly tacked together.

The motor is nearly rebuilt, with a Innocenti LI150 gearbox, Just waiting for a 17 tooth sprocket, new bearing and seals etc, top end I haven’t touched (MB built it so I’ll leave it alone, - it was well oiled when it sat in the garage).

Got all the innards in, the frame forks, and headset on, ready for the engine.

So hopefully one big Internet order for the missing fasteners and it will be finished. Just got to get the doctor to sign my arm as fit to drive   and I’ll be set for the new year season.

Found this old dealer bage in the garage. :D
