Hi all!

I have a long-range tank (11,5L) in my vespa and therefore using a mikuni (20l/h) to feed my Keihin 35 on my S&S reed and crank.

But somehow there are air in the system and I can only get fuel as long as it is leveled above the carb (just as standard tank)

Can someone please help me and tell me how I'll get the pump working properly and get the extra 5 liters out of the bottom of my tank with the pump?

Thanks!

When I have fitted pumps in the past with the long range tanks the pump sits in the frame then I drill another hole in the frame lower than the factory one to feed the carb. The suction pipe uses the original feed hole and seems to work.If all pipe work is tight try sucking on the pump suction pipe to see if fuel will flow ok if not the diaphram may be faulty
