i need a tyre to increase the final drive gear ratio for an up coming project as there is little choise on gear box and sprockets. its currently on 3.00x10 a 3.50x10 is too big i.e fouling the casing. what size in metric is bigger than the 3.00 but still smaller than the 3.50 ? cheers simon
I've used 100/80 10 on a smallframe before. Slight increase over 300x10 but may not clear thr casing width wise You could also use a 90/90 10 no problem.
Cheers

I'd have thought a 90/90 was fractionally wider than a 3.50? 90 being 90 mm wide. 3.50 = 3 & 1/2 inch being about 87 mm wide. 3.50 is taller than a 90/90 though.
MB sell a 2 mm spacer that goes under the rear hub that would space the tyre away from the casing by , err, err, 2 mm.
