CHT on a Casa 185?

Having dropped the compression a bit on my Casa's head, I'm now running a Westach CHT to help with carb tuning and as a hwy riding safety net.
Is any one else running CHT with their Casa? Would it be fair to compare temps to other kits that are alloy/nicasil?
Thanks in advance.

OK don't have a Casa kit at the Mo, don't have a CHT but do run an EGT on my current Muggy.
Basically you need to ride your set up and get a feel for what temperatures you are achieving for normal riding at different speeds. I have found mine to be very stable and have had some very high readings normally after filling up. This is the warning to slow down before blowing up.
In my case 300 C = around 30 mph 400 40mph. after filling up on the way back from Lincoln I had an extra 200 degrees for the same speed. All within 1 mile of getting back on the A1. I always said I would have to hole another piston and when it happened look at my gauge a draw a red line, I don't think you can take anyone else's readings and say I'm OK till XX
On the Casa front I ran one of the first ones and never had a problem with it over heating, very reliable, did have good compression but no more than my muggy, ran on 2-3% fully synthetic. What timing are you running
