SSC CLUTCH "PROBLEM"

buy this clutch .. but it is causing problems ..

I can not close without touching the engine at the top ..
see the height between the normal clutch and this ..

someone is using?.
hard springs should use? "I have 185mugello + jl exhaust.
I read around that recommend using oil 40 instead of 90

any suggestions?

may be possible that the 4 screws from the center must be more fitting?

Did you get any fitting instructions with it mate? one of our lads teafive on here has one which i think he has just fitted he may be along soon to offer advice :?

This is a new clutch install right? I figure the plate is proprietary, so I would see about a packer for the case. Either that, or double-check the dwell of the clutch sprocket. If your chain is all lined up, you'll need a packer. If in a pinch, bodge it up with a stack of four paper gaskets and some Yamabond. But if you can get a thicker top plate, it'll probably clear.

Roy, I'd strip it down and rebuild it again. That gap between the bottom plate and the rear sprocket well in you second side on photo is wrong. The clutch plates and corks should sit lower than that.

hello -
were working on the clutch housing ..
front and behind ..
now in good condition.

I was thinking ... that oil used with these discs ..
Motul TRANSOIL 10w 30... to be okay?
