Fork link bush question?

I have a new (new to me!) disc brake all built and ready to go, got the anti rattle clip out and stripped my forks tonight quick and easy. When I grabbed my disc links they were a little rough and rusty inside where the rod ends go but I cleaned them up and got all the old hard gunk out of the grease holes for the nipples! Then I notice I have no bushings in these links!! s**t!
I have had nylon bushes around in the past but now have nothing! I'd like to press out the brass bushings in the drum links and press them back into my disc links. Is this possible or will pressing them out just screw them up? I have a 1 ton arbour press, will this be enough to press them out?
These bushings are in great shape, there is no play with the insert, just a great fit.
Thanks for any advice.

Did this this morning. Worked great and the disc links are already in the scoot!

interested to know if you are using the "S1" link bolts (with the grease nipple on the end). Apparently, if they are regularly greased then the brass bushes last "for ever"

Yes I'm using the bolts with the grease fittings. They look great and they are from '59!
