hello paul
30mm vhsh carb at the mo but will probably change
sorry to ask a stupid question:
regs say no modifications to headset but assume its ok to cut a hole in the panel for group 4 and cut the rear runner a bit for brake pedal in non stanard position
also ok not to use rear frame grille and rear light housing - if this is ok is it ok not to run hornacst grille?
cheers
mick

I assume you are talking about Gp 4 ?...
Holes to suit carb are ok in side panels.... As are for rear set.... They can't be huge though .... Just enough for clearance !
The real light housing and horn casing grill need to be fitted. Rear lens doesn't though. Rear frame grill can be left off ( usually covered by race seat anyway)
The Aprilia hoses would be too big I think for a 30mm carb......

the motor im getting wouldnt make group 4 but want the scoot to be in compliance as i might think about it

Street Class is the easiest way to get on track and actually in some ways te most open class as far as modifications goes.

Are these basically the same as a velocity stack?

they are just a plastic / rubber hose shape, like a bellmouth but straight without a cone profile
i believe they smooth out the carburation

I see. Are velocity stacks legal? Some of you guys not wanting to go the air filter route might be interested in these.
