im working on a std cylinder bored out to 50mm to keep some balance , got a centre bowl head ,found a good replacement conrod ,designed a pipe and may have an alternative ignition sorted
ive dynoed a std 75 at 3.9bhp
ps its an ongoing project so wont be done nxt week

Where's OAP, mr Moss must remember something about this, Roy's of Hornchurch used to do a tuned Vega 75 kit, 30mm Amal and a ported barrel if I recall. No idea what the spec was though :?

no choise on gear box if staying on 75cc crank, front sprockets are now available , so if making enough power could go up on front sprocket :shock: . down draft manifold and 24mm pwk ?. and whats wrong with my vegatronic ignition 8-) . i cant wait :anbrgin;

ive seen casa do front sprocket options ,the manifold and carb should be ok as long as its a decent pwk with the right bits but 28 / 30phbh are well proven on piston port set ups or i think the std carb would be quite good
didnt know u had vegatronic so thats sorted then

ive dynoed a std one at 3.9bhp ,ive not ported the cylinder yet to see what i can get in there so not sure what it will do but 50cc/70cc/80cc are my area of greatest interest and work done over the years so confident ill get a decent result but we,ll see???
its light weight and small chassis will make it a decent performer and keeping it small capacity at approx 87cc shouldnt overwhelm the chassis

littlemoon (my lui with a vega motor) does 45mph on the speedo. more like 35 to 40mph an ideal round town machine, nice and adgile. i think my lui was held back abit due to the j125 exhaust i had fitted (to keep it looking like a lui). my old mate and mentor alan "digger" gardiner had a wildcat vega it had a twin plug head (road/race) amal carb on a royspeed manifold and black side case . i do have an allspeeds pipe that i was about to try, but had to strip top end before piston failure.
