I`ve got a Mk.1 GS with a SS180 engine.
The engine has had a full overhual and been converted to 12v leccy. It goes realy well but these repro pipes are a bag of poo.
Am I correct in thinking that if a fit one of these http://www.sip-scootershop.com/en/produ ... d_13014380, I can use any p200 pipe?
If so, which pipe would you fellas reccomend? Prefrably torque over revs.
Cheers,
Rob
Exhaust question.
If you want something subtle but which works well especially for torque i would say one of sip's semi expansions

You will still have to do some modifications to the swing arm bracket part of any p-range exhaust to fit it to your SS engine though, even with that stub it won't be going straight on ,says as much in the write up in your link.

Jetting's trial and error obviously ,but as a guide i only needed to go up one on my rally 200 when i fitted one so it runs a 120 now , you have a different engine and carb but going on that you'd probably need a 122 at a guess .
Hi Rob,
There are exhaust-conversion kits available for the SS/GS engines.
Just change the exhaust stub on the cylinder, and any PX200 pipe will fit.
Would highly recomend the SIP Road exhaust...
