Is there a custom wheel going between the links as I don't see any offset?

Doesnt show well in the photo's but there the same as stock, just used a stock drum link as the base and as you can see in the photos have added extra ribbing allong the bottom to add strength and rigidaty,Have a SSC double disk to mount in between.soulsurfer wrote:Is there a custom wheel going between the links as I don't see any offset?

nice work, Im doing something similar but waterjet cut from steel, as Im running all custom wheel and brake setup couple of questions
what are them shocks, they look so nice
and not being funny, but with all that work, is there a simple reason why you left the axle slot open, I have designed and planned to have mine as a hole not a slot. I realise its obviously safe as there so many scooters with the slot, but I just cant accept it LOL

heavy is good, heavy is reliable, and if it does fail, hit them with it!!!
front shocks are FOX Vanilla downhill mountin bike, had new springs made for them and they still need to be sent out to have lighter oil put in them. very high quality shock about $1000 NZ new, picked these up for half that as they were an older model.stock links work fine with the slot, i didnt see a need to change it just makes changing the front tire harder.

cool, I was wondering about the spring rates, never seen softer than about 250lb on them shocks.
yeah I appreciate nothing wrong with the slot, just that I build bikes normally and it seemed really strange to me, but as you say must be easier for changes.
nice work on the links, will you run a crush tube twixt the bearings?
