Any advice would be appreciated.
1965 Pacemaker converted to electronic ignition. brake light and horn work when running. Pulled the headset top wiring is clean and where it should be. when I turn on the park light or the head light it immediately bog and dies. Takes forever to start afterwards.
Thoughts please gents?

Try removing the green wire from the CDI unit that goes into the loom (not the other one from the stator) and try again. I wondering if the fault could be in the ignition switch. I presume that it won't restart with the lights on? If not, do the lights glow whilse you are kicking it over?
