Hiya bud,
I have a Fat-Mamba TS1225 with a final ratio of 5.0 [Li-150 box with 16/47 sprockets] but feels like it could be better on 5.2 [15/46].
SX200 box gives 4.8, you could keep the box and change front/clutch sprockets to 14/47 keeping the same chain. This would make it easy to rev with fast acceleration but would bring your top speed down a bit.
hope this is of some help, Sticky's book is good for info, and does mention PM pipes run on 5.1 - 5.3 ratios, cheers Dave.

On my TS1 and fat mamba, a good setup was a final drive of 4.8:1
that was an italian GP200 gearbox runing 19/46
I think the SX200 is 4.8 standard so give that a shot.
Mine was in a series 1 though, and the same motor in my series 3 would pull 4.6:1

Depending on the speed you drive at most of the time 60-70mph?
Set the gearing so maximum torque is used at this speed, that way it will always perform well & still rev out further to overtake easily.
Also the motor will be running with a higher air flow accross the cylinder & head so cooler overall!
Much better than if you up the gearing for fuel economy & then labouring it in 4th where bye increasing the running temperature due to lack of cooling/fuel & advanced ignition if a retarder has also been fitted!
So for your SX200 box & use 15-46 standard primary drive ratio. So at 6500rpm a possible 65-70mph depending on what tyres you used?
