i need someone to help me work out what gearing my p2 lump is gunna need,

i know theres loads of options out there, but need to work out whats best, as i have an oversized rear tyre (120/90) which will mean increased top speeds, i need to know how to get the revs back down again, but also look at the gearing in respect of what i want the engine to do, as its gunna be a long stroked 210 malossi, obviously the malossi kits are revvy as, but long stroking it will add extra torque, so how will i want the gear ratio?

i want it to set up to be an all rounder, quick off the line, but not mental so that i end up nearly flipping the f@@ker at the lights, just so that if i filter to the front im gunna be able to nip ahead, what i want is to unleash the torque when it comes to overtaking, so that i can just pull on the throttle when cruising and just go, as for top speed, not that arsed as long as it gets there and can sit at a nice cruising speed, if i go to a rally on it, i know roughly that the malossi kits will pull up to and over a true 70mph, which is fine for me,
just want this engine for thrashing about on really, then go to some rallies on it,

thats why i thought it would be best to just go t5 4th with the rest of the p2 gearbox, but then have a 68/22 primary/clutch, to off set the rear tyre, but after some discussions it looks as if there is more options out there on what you can do with the gearing and how it can get the power/torque from the engine when you want it,

i have been on the gearing calculator on scooter help to get some rough idea, but does anyone have any other info on deciding the gearbox set up on a long stroked malossi???

cheers

matt
