Replacement keys

I've only got one set for the steering lock and the glovebox (on my SII LI150) so would like to get a spare set cut. Every locksmith I've asked so far has looked at me like I'm daft, they probably had a point.

Is this a specialist thing?

If they are original locks to the scoot, then Jem Booth is you man.

I had the same problem with my local key cutting bloke, but he ordered some special ones in and they fit a treat :D

Worth asking on here if anyone has spares, I'm certain between us all we will have quite a collection..

Jem has just done me 4 new keys from the numbers on the locks, all worked perfect when I received them and at a very reasonable price. 8-)

Jem fixed my keys which work well.

He also fixed the ignition lock where the key kept falling out (quite expensive) but when it came back it turned out it wasn't fixed at all. Have been sending him a mail about it every month for the last half year but he is not replying to them - poor service IMHO.

However, in the UK I believe he's the only one who can do it from a number.

I'm an ex-pat in Sydney. No joy so far with local locksmiths but will ask about the next time I see some of the scooter lads.
