Hi folks,
hope someone can help here.
I have 1969 GP150 that was converted to 12v about nine years ago.
Just rebuilding it from scratch and have put a new wiring loom in from Scooter Restorations.
Trouble is two things:
1 - I have three extra wires that come off the loom near the horn. really hoping these are alternatives for the horn and an earth!!
2 - missing a grey wire out of the loom but have an extra black one, is this just a straight exchange?
Any help appreciated.

Hi,it looks like on pic 1 that the brown on the main loom will go to the red on the horn but remove the red wire and discard, the white wire from the loom will go to the white wire on the horn but you will have to join it to the white wire that's already there as this is the earth wire from the switch.
pic 2,join all the blacks together on the bulb holder, join the greens together, join the browns and the purple together, cut the red wire off the brown wire and discard as this was the original feed to the horn, the horn should now be fed from the brown wire from the main wiring harness near the horn.
Not sure what the other red wire does in your hand maybe stop front light switch if you have one .
Hope this helps

i,d guess the pink & white wires will be to operate the brake light from via the fromt brake lever.if no connections on the brake lever wrap the wires individually.brown to horn.

Thanks for the advice Dean, think I may take your route to reduce the spaghetti!
Roli-olo are you sure about the possibility of connecting these wires to a front brake? It's just that I have fitted a Scootrs disc brake and have the connection points for a front brake light.
Thanks again.

Just trace these wires back and see where they go to ,or simply get a multimeter and do some continuity tests .

Thanks again for the comments, all were correct. Got the day off work so managed to call Scooter Restorations. As so many people want a front brake light they build it into their looms so two spades are for the light and double brown is for the horn then original red can be discarded. As long as I can get the sheared off screw

out of the flywheel surround should be up and running this weekend
