Fitting a reed valve to rapido

hi im fitting a reed valve to my rapido 225 where do i put and how long for boost port thanks

It needs to run up from the inlet port and finish level with the top of the transfers somewhere around 22 - 25 mm wide but check where the ring pegs are. The depth will depend on the amoununt of metal you have to play with. When I cut mine into an SR 225 type barrel i managed to break through to the outside between the fins :shock:

I'm sure one of the professional will be on soon but in the meatime, try the search facility, this has been covered in some depth with pictures before.

Thanks for the info lads think i'll buy a ts1 piston don't know about cutting the rapido piston might weakin it to much
