I have just bought a series 1 it has has a 175 kit, 30mm delorto and a coffee pot style exhaust on it. The scooter starts fine, when riding it is very jerky then bogs down and goes ok. What jets should be in the carb? also is the coffee pot exhaust the best one for it?

By coffee pot i take it you mean the twin pipe sixties type, if so then its of no use other than looks , try a clubman it should improve the exhaust end of things ,

Go for the 42mm clubman should run well with a 175 .........i personally i`d change the 30mm dellorto ,it`s a bit too big (imho :) )change to 25mm i doubt if you`ll notice any change in performance ,but may well notice a big improvement in fuel economy !
never squat down when wearing spurs !!
