Morning all
Im having trouble setting up a PHBH 30mm
Tickover is sitting at about 2k'ish
The idle screw dont seem to work
Ive set the airscrew at 2 turns out
I can bring the tickover down by turning the airscrew out
Am i right in thinking ive got an air leak somewhere ??

have a look at the carb rubber you could have a split in it or you could have a split manifiold gasket

When the idle screw didn't work on my 30PHBH it was simply that the throttle cable was adjusted too tight and the slide wasn't closing all the way. I loosened the adjustment at the top of the carb and "hey presto" the idle screw worked.
Sometimes it is the easy things. :biggrin:
