Scootrs pipe on Imola keeps coming loose !!!

HIya all, I`ve wire locked the nuts, I`ve fitted new rubbers so the body of the pipe floats on them , I`ve loctite`d the studs in place . All nuts fitted with a flat and a spring washer. The pipe does not rub anywhere. What seems to be happening after a 20 mile run is the barrel studs are winding themselves out into the nuts ? ? I just nipped them up in place with loctite, didn`t bottom them out
Its driving me mad.
That`s 4 times now I`ve had it on and off
Any other ideas welcome, would prefer a stub type exhaust in the future but I know others who run these on an Imola , no probs

Are they stainless studs mate? Also... what loctite are you using? Loctite comes in different strengths for different purposes. You can get higher melt point temp loctites basically.

They are normal mild steel studs mate and I`m using studlock.
If it comes loose again I think I`ll put the taffspeed copy I`ve`got on my s2 on it . Need the imola type stub though , gave one away in the past ....DOH!!

Maybe the flange on the exhaust is warped. It was on mine.

My stainless Scoot RS pipe came loose and leaked a couple of times so when I fitted a new Rapido engine I locktited the studs etc but also had a looked at the flange and found it was not flat faced, so I lapped it in with wet 'n' dry on a piece of glass, so far so good almost 1500 miles of running in with no problems, touch wood !!! Hope this helps.
