trouble over 60

any 1 any ideas,got mugello 225 30 delorto,started spluttering over 60 and dieing ,when u shut throttle and sit aat 55 al ok,i clean carb out ,changed fuel tap and still doing it :wtf: any ideas

If it has been running for quite a while without problems and just started doing it, i would go with eden and say electrical and try a different stator or CDI unit. Could just be doing it in fourth as it will put a bigger load on the engine in fourth gear.
Only other thing to check on your fuel system is a worn needle valve but it would probably do it in all ranges if this was the case.
