clutch Slippin

I recently changed gear oil usng ST90 Rock oil on 1st longish ride the clutch slips in 4th gear when I'm cracking on it dosnt slip any other time at the moment. Could it be the oil or is clutch on the way out any advice gratefully accepted

Mine used to slip in 4th gear when it got warmed up and giving it some ....I changed the clutch springs to better ones and haven't had the problem since

cheers bizzly that sounds exactly what is happenin to mine,gonna change em with a mate in next couple of weeks did you change them straight away or was it ok for a bit ive got a close rideout i want to attend about 50 miles so was gonna do it after that any ideas on if it be ok for that

I didn't change them for a week or so...I just couldn't accelerate too hard for a while when it got hot that's all...I survived...lol
The clutch plates on mine were fine when I changed the springs...no burning, worn etc

Cheers for that mate gonna do it in next couple of weeks & will see if whole clutch needs doing its been in a while

I have the same problem, when hot. Mine already has strong springs in, not sure of the quality though? Who makes decent strong clutch springs?
