Im rebuilding an SX headset from scratch and need to locate a decent lense and bulb holder. The headset is a chrome ring type (spanish i think). I also have the chrome 50p rim and most of the internals. Im not bothered if its spanish, italian or indian as long as it fits. Question I have is do i also have the buy a lense, bulb holder thats specific to the stamping on the inside of the headset or will any SX one fit?......and who sells the best ones.....(cheapish)... :D

Thats it.....I think...

^^^ did the same with mine a few years ago got the reflector from scooter restos http://www.scooterrestorations.com/lamb ... reflector/ but you will need a CEV bulb holder to use with this reflector (unless you have one knocking about) http://www.scooterrestorations.com/lamb ... lb-holder/ .The bulb holder I found when putting mine together was a bit delicate (or I'm heavy handed) and broke when putting the bullet terminals in,but soon sorted with a bit of araldite ,2 years later still spot on. The glass is also available on there http://www.scooterrestorations.com/lamb ... centi-cev/ can't comment on that as I used the original carello glass I had.But as I sure you know, bit of bathroom clear silicon in the reflector ,line the glass up, put the glass in,heavy book on it over night, job done.As regards Spanish,Indian,Italian SX headset, mate of mine has a chrome ring TV175 ,bottom of the headset is Spanish, top Italian,Italian lense, so going off that I'd say interchangable.
I am playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order.
