Ts1 exhaust stud wire kit!

I need to get one of these kits as my exhaust nuts keep coming loose and blowing gaskets but they are a tenner to buy and I could make them if I know what size thread and pitch they are !! Does any one know what size allen bolts I need to get?

i wouldnt use allen bolts myself..........think studs are best kept and used.......
have you tried double nutting it.............?
a lot depends on the type and quality of ex gasket used..........

i use allen bolt on one side and brass nut on the hard to reach one ,both lockwired with no gasket . i use b&q silcone to join the 2 faces after i have machined them flat.if thats any help

Tried double lock and they are still coming loose! also tried locktite on them too!
I have never tried silicone on an exhaust gasket before only on the head.
I was thinking allen key with loctite and wired too!
I use the copper gaskets as I find them the best but seem to have a little problem with it this time!

following a tip on LCGB, I made some alloy tab washers, the exhaust hasn't come loose since. the suggestion was to use a cut down chain guide tab washer, but I didn't have one, so just used some thin alloy plate I had.

i pinch "nordlock" washers from work,there basically two interlocking washers that sit on top of each other with teeth angled so it forms a ratchet effect so once tightened they dont release unless you use a spanner.engineering bolt stockists should be able to help
