Had this Spanish SX frame that someone had taken the grinder to hanging around for years. Done cutdowns before and always thought the back end looked unfinished .....so went for a different finish and grafted a one off tail piece.

Good work Fenian Mick, I like it, what setup are you running?

Can I recommend that you weld on a security loop, IMO when a lammy is taken down to this level it should be standard practice these days.

Thanks for the comments and good point about the security loop.

Did the engine about 18 months ago and the frame mods about 12 months ago and only getting time now to start again.
the engine is a TS230 race tour, with Broady piston and alpha crank, Also old type 6 plate Broady clutch with packer but using hydraulic set up and a inside the hub hydraulic disc brake.

I had gearbox and other transmission parts cryogenically frozen and gears and piston coated in a molybdenum dry lube.

the forks using outboard shockers and converting the links was tricky getting it all lined up.

shortened fork tube and forks

I keep doing the dry builds then changing my mind

Looks sweet! Question about the rear disc, is that a mod u have done or is it available to buy? I've never seen this type of rear disc before, how does the rear wheel go on? Any chance of some more images of it please.

Cheers and keep up the good work :fb:
