My PX engine needs perking up. It goes ok (sort of) on the flat but is definately slower than friend's P2s and just gives up on hills and headwinds. I know its an open ended question but which kit and other mods would make a good tourer and where would be a good place to get the work done. (somewhere in the south east would be good but not essential).
I'm looking for something like my Lammy engine, not massively fast but it will sit at a genuine GPS 60 mph up hill and down pretty much all day.
Good PX Engine builder?

You wouldn't go far wrong with a call to Diablo, you and Rich could double up on the trips

If funds allow I quite like the look of a pinasco with a longer stroke crank and a SIP exhaust. Torque touring is the name of the game. I will need a long range fuel tank making though. The standard 1950s one is just under 4.5 litres!
