Malossi conversion - please helpP200e
Hi guys, new to this forum, I have restored a p200e , looks great, I have spent the bucks on a full malossi kit, barrel, head, pipe, malossi carb the whole honk... now, first bolted the kit and carb straight on and worked ok, stripped the motor today and would like to modify the casings and the standard crank aswell as the intake duct/port hole... I have the booklet that cam with the alluminium barrel/piston kit, it gives basic instructions on how to modify the the case, crank and intake port, my question is could someone verify the workability of the modification as per the malossi booklet, does the mod work and how well if so.... also if someone could let me know how to modify the intake duct/port as I dont really understand the drawing given by malossi, also clarify the case porting and crank porting. I am going to stick with the rotory crank design and not reed valve style...am am technical by trade and have access to machining tools etc so technical advice will be greatly appreciated....am eager to hear form someone, thanks guys appreciate the opportuninty, from sunny South Africa.....
