My friend have found an NOS Motoplat electronic ignition, that is prepared to an electric start.

Well I've seen plenty of mag flanges with a hole for the starter motor, and I even met a guy at a parts fair who claimed to ahve owned an electric start Servetta, but I've never seen one before. Thanks for producing the evidence.
Has anyone else seen the whole thing set-up and running as an electric start Spainard??

I think that this electric start maybe is from a Lambretta Amiga prototype.Knowledge wrote:...Has anyone else seen the whole thing set-up and running as an electric start Spainard??
Some of the servettas came over with the Electric start fitted a lad from Liverpool had one in the mid 80's.... and it worked...

Perry Lewis (Wildcat) has I believe one of the few original Lambrettas fitted with an electric start as designed by Lambretta.

I remember going to Len Turners when they were in Rock Ferry about then and seeing one in the shop so I imagine there should be some literature on them somewhere.J1MS wrote:Some of the servettas came over with the Electric start fitted a lad from Liverpool had one in the mid 80's.... and it worked...
