Hi, I am just about to finish the rebuild and I was wondering what the best set up would be for this type of engine.

Can anyone advise on what would be the correct settings for the stator plate/ignition settings (retarded?) and the jetting for the carb.

Follow these tips if your gonna use Si24 carb,timing fully retard, turn stator fully clock wise and see how it goes. 17-18 degrees.

Jetting is 50-120 idle 160/be3/125 main stack, plug check to take it up or down on main.
